GATE 2018 EE Question Paper: Weightage of Topics

General Aptitude was regarded as the most scoring section, mathematics was moderate, questions from digital circuits and networks were formula based and of basic level. The questions on electrical machines were moderately difficult as compared to the past 2 years’ papers. Signal Systems had a mixture of easy to moderate questions. Overall the paper was moderate to tough.
