GATE 2018 CE (Civil Engineering) Question Paper with Answer key PDFs for Slot 2 are available for download. The exam was conducted by IIT Guwahati on 11 February 2018 in the afternoon session from 14:00 to 17:00 Hours (IST). GATE CE Question Paper includes questions from three sections- General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and topics related to civil engineering. The General Aptitude section consists of 10 questions related to Vocabulary, Proportions, equations, etc. There were 39 MCQs and 26 NATs in GATE 2018 Question paper.

- The topics covered in Slot 2 of GATE 2018 CE were Building Materials, Theodolite and Traversing, Leveling, Slope and deflection of structures, Trusses and frames, etc.
- In General Aptitude, question number 1 to 5 carries 1 mark and Question number 6 to 10 carries 2 marks. In total, the GATE CE 2018 Set 2 paper has 65 questions.
- It was observed that the paper has Numerical Answer Type (NAT) and Multiple Choice questions, Conceptual questions were more than Calculations.
