GATE 2018 Agricultural Engineering Paper Analysis

Both MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) and NATs (Numerical Answer Types), types of questions appeared in GATE 2018 AG question paper. All the questions carried either 1 or 2 marks, constituting a 100 marks question paper.

  • 180 minutes were allotted for solving 65 questions in GATE 2018 AG.
  • There were 30 NAT (Numerical Answer Type) questions in GATE 2018 AG. Rest of the 35 questions were MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions).
  • 10 MCQs questions appeared from the General Aptitude section, carrying 15 marks.
  • The remaining 55 questions were related to core subject carrying 85% of the paper weightage.
  • GATE 2018 AG was a CBT based exam which consisted of 65 questions. 3 hours were allowed to solve all the questions
