GATE CY 2017 Paper Analysis

The exam consisted of two types of question patterns i.e MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) and NAT (Numerical Multiple Type). The total marks of the GATE CY 2017 were 100.

  • Timings of the exam were 3 hours
  • Most of the weightage was given to MCQs contributing 71 marks in GATE 2017 CY exam whereas 10 questions were from general aptitude which was in the form of MCQ question
  • This exam was held in CBT mode.

GATE 2017 CY MARKING SCHEME

  • According to the paper format, 0.33 marks were deducted for every 1 marks question, and 0.66 marks were deducted for every 2 marks question.
  • However, there was no minus marking for NAT questions.
  • Zero marks were rewarded for unattempted question
