GATE BT 2017 Paper Analysis

The exam consisted of two types of question patterns i.e MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) and NAT (Numerical Multiple Type) and 10 questions were from general aptitude. The total marks of the GATE BT 2017 were 100.

• The duration of the examination was of 3 Hours
• Most of the weightage was given to MCQs questions thus contributing to the highest questions in the GATE 2017 BT exam.
• 85 marks weightage was from the syllabus and 15 marks question were from the general aptitude.
• This exam was held in CBT( Computer Based Test) mode.

GATE 2017 BT MARKING SCHEME

• According to the question paper format, 0.33 marks were deducted for every 1 marks question, and 0.66 marks were deducted for every 2 marks question.
• However, there was no negative marking in NAT questions.
• Zero marks were rewarded for unattempted questions.
