GATE 2017 Architecture and Planning (AR) exam was conducted on February 4, 2017 in the Forenoon Session. The Question and Answer PDF is available for download in the details. The exam was conducted by IIT Roorkee. The question was of moderate level of difficulty. The exam consisted of 65 questions which were divided into 2 sections. 55 questions are from the syllabus and 10 questions are from general aptitude.

GATE Architecture and Planning (AR) 2017 Paper Analysis

The exam consisted of two types of question patterns i.e MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) and NAT (Numerical Multiple Type). The total marks of the GATE AR 2017 were 100.

  • The duration of the examination was 180 minutes
  • Most of the weightage was given to MCQ questions in GATE 2017 AG exam.
  • This exam was held in CBT( Computer Based Test) mode.

GATE 2017 AR MARKING SCHEME

  • According to the paper format, 0.33 marks were deducted for every 1 marks question, and 0.66 marks were deducted for every 2 marks question.
  • However, in NAT questions there was no minus marking.
  • Zero marks were rewarded for unattempted question
