GATE 2016 Geology and Geophysics (GG) Detailed Paper Analysis
- The Geology and Geophysics (GG) paper had three sections: Core Subject, General Aptitude and optional section.
- In Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), there will be one-third negative marking for wrong answer in one mark MCQs.
- There will be two-third negative marking for wrong answer in two marks MCQs.
- In Numerical Answer Type (NATs), there will be no negative marking for wrong answer.
- The question paper had 65 questions carrying 100 marks.
