GATE 2015 Aerospace Engineering (AE) Paper Analysis

GATE 2015 Aerospace Engineering (AE) question paper has a total of 65 questions.

• 29 questions in the question paper carried 2 marks each and the remaining questions were of 1 mark.
• Questions followed different formats like that of Multiple Choices Questions (MCQs) and Numerical Answer Questions (NAQ).

• Almost 15% of weightage was given to general aptitude and another 15% was taken by Engineering Mathematics.
• The remaining paper consisting of subject-specific questions had 70% of weightage.
• Diagrams, graphs, and data were even found in a few of the questions.
• The exam contained negative markings as well. 1/3rd and 2/3rd marks shall be deducted for every wrong answer of questions carrying 1 and 2 marks respectively.
