GATE 2011 Engineering Sciences (XE) Question Paper with Answer Key PDFs are available for download. GATE XE was successfully conducted by IIT Madras on February 13, 2011. GATE XE question papers contained a total of 65 questions for 100 marks. The question paper contained 85% paper from the core subject rest of 15% from the general aptitude section. GATE 2011 Engineering Sciences (XE) Question Paper Analysis

GATE 2011 XE paper contained 65 questions. The question paper contained two compulsory sections of general aptitude and engineering mathematics. There were six other options among which two had to be selected which contained 70 marks, 35 per section. The optional sections were – Fluid Mechanics, Material Science, Solid Mechanics, Thermodynamic, Polymer Science and Engineering, and Food Technology. There were two pairs of linked questions per section from the optional sections.
