GATE 2011 Aerospace Engineering (AE) Question Paper Analysis

  • Engineering Mathematics, Flight Mechanics, Aerodynamics, Structures, Propulsion, and Space Dynamics are the six parts of the GATE Aerospace Engineering paper.
  • The curriculum is further separated into 'Core Topics' and 'Special Topics' for each unit. In addition to these six areas, the GATE Aerospace Engineering Exam includes a section on general aptitude.
  • 85 percent of the questions in the GATE Aerospace Engineering Exam come from the GATE Aerospace Engineering Syllabus plus Engineering Mathematics, while the remaining 15% come from the general aptitude part. Furthermore, around 90% of the questions in each session come from fundamental aeronautical themes, with the remaining 10% coming from specific areas.
