For the longest time, a teacher’s salary is wholly dependent on seniority or stepping system. The higher the designation a teacher will achieve, the higher will be their salary structure. This is applicable for first-year teachers, as well as second-year teachers and it continues. The only way to raise one’s salary is to pursue higher degrees like M.Phil or Ph.D. On the other hand, there are teachers who also provide coaching after school or to clubs and organizations to give a raise to their salaries. This method doesn’t make the teachers fall into the trap of popularity contests. But this allows those ineffective teachers to prey on the students with their inefficient method of teaching.
