Answer:

The universe has been enigmatic from the very beginning. We have been enthralled from the early days of civilization and always found it mysterious, and questioned the realms of gods. Evolution is the end result of human beings and their eagerness. The other reason behind constructive study is our ability to control the surroundings and environment in a proper way. As Francis Bacon has stated, “ Knowledge is Power''.

Human beings try different ways to unfold the mystery, and scientific research is considered the purest form of understanding the world. The reason behind this is, scientific researches are a product of experiments, researches, assembling observable and calculative pieces of evidence. Another reason behind trusting scientific knowledge is its ability to test hypotheses in reproducible analysis. Epistemology or the process of knowledge acquisition tells how gathering knowledge is processed over time. Knowledge is an aggregation process and every new theory that we learn to have its fundamentals in an old theory.

The notion that states learning more leads to mysterious thinking rather than the rational thing is vague. Following this notion means following an impractical assumption that knowledge is assessed by the remaining amount of knowledge yet to learn. When humanity is beginning its education about the universe and its secrets, progress should not be measured based on how much is left to learn. Instead, the focus should be on how much knowledge we have gained. Human beings should never make comparisons between their past and present levels of knowledge but cherish the fact that they have prospered enough from what they knew. If for instance, we take biology, we can understand how previously we had very little to no knowledge of organs. And now, we know not only about organs but also about tissues, cells, imbalances in bodily fluids, DNA functions, and more. Similar can be stated about Geography and how human beings believed that Earth is flat and that the sun revolved around it. Now, if we compare these thoughts to the evolved concepts of today like astrophysics, tectonics, landscape formation, and more, we will understand how we have progressed as human beings.

It is true that we cannot state that we have absorbed all the knowledge but we can definitely state how much we have progressed throughout this time. To conclude, people like to believe the fact that completely knowing the universe can be boring and also that the universe is covered with mystery.
