A leader is a person who can lead people by showing the right direction and followed by others due to his personality. A leader must possess qualities like integrity, confidence, honesty, competence, dedication, etc in bringing out the tasks that are related to his leadership. A leader is elected by his people and has to fulfill the demands of the people that are led by him. Unless a leader has the inborn traits of leadership, he will not be able to succeed in becoming an effective leader. To become a leader, the demands that are placed upon a person are a big challenge. Hence, it is true that leaders fulfill the demands of the people that are led by them, but a leader cannot be made by these demands. Foresightedness and judiciousness are the most necessary qualities of a good leader. Leaders have to see far ahead of ordinary people. Apart from this, the leaders dare to forbear the situation which ordinary people cannot go through. Leadership is about responsibility, knowledge, sympathy, timing, delegation.

They bring about political and social change and also bring justice for the underprivileged and oppressed people in society. The leaders of a nation are not driven by demands but somewhat by the greater good. This is what helps to guide people towards a successful change and makes them effective. For eg- Mahatma Gandhi one of the greatest leaders of was overwhelmed with demands from all sides i.e, political parties, the freedom fighters, the British, etc. He was a strong person and always did what he felt was right, which made him follow the people with unquestioning obedience. It was the ideology, principles, and qualities that were respected by the people who followed him. The freedom struggle of India plays necessary demands on all the leaders, but only a few of them were able to succeed in leading the people.

The best way to prepare young people for leadership in a society is to inculcate a sense of cooperation. This is for three main reasons- leaders have shown themselves more successful when they are collaborative than competitive, secondly, these leaders had to make decisions that require listening to the views of many people, and thirdly, the problems that the whole world is facing today are based on cooperation more than ever before.

Firstly, excellent leadership is identified by a definite ability to make hard decisions that combine opposite views. To be effective in doing this, a leader must be cooperative, rather than competitive, a leader must be cooperative. To listen to the people in an organizational or social group, and to collect the views of such people into a logical direction is the duty of a leader. The leader of a nation must have to make decisions that have standardized implications and in doing so, the leader must cooperate with, eclectic group of people, for whose interest they represent.

Secondly, to cause an ill-tempered relationship that leads to unpleasant outcomes, a leader is guided by competition rather than cooperation. For eg- the sharp differences in collaborative and adversarial governments in Europe and how these countries have responded to the pandemic situation of Covid- 19. Adversarial governments like the United Kingdom have been worried about the political parties and have been criticized for their worthless response to the virus. On the contrary, collaborative governments like Germany have been praised for their response to the virus.

Thirdly, inculcating a sense of cooperation into the future leaders results in positive decisions for the good of the country as well as the world. The duty of society to prepare its young leaders should be taken into account not only their economy and national businesses but the world problems that these governments and organizations must handle in the coming years. The only way for solutions to increasingly complex global problems is through cooperation in the current business and political climate.

Leaders are chosen mainly by the demands of the voters instead of factors like familiarity, fanaticism, or reverence. Natural leaders mainly focused on how to improve the lives of people and how to bring about change. Thus an effective leader can be created by the external demands that are placed on them with the support of inborn leadership qualities which are required in a nominated leader. It takes great courage not to give into mislaid demands.

In conclusion, it can be said that leaders are created to reach people's demands. No matter whether ineffectual or potent, leaders are chosen by their people. And one who possesses all this quality will be welcomed throughout history.
