For a child, home is the first place where they learn. The parents are the first-ever teachers that a child gets. As the children are learning from a very tender age, it is of utmost importance that parents behave in a way that their child should pick up. It is, therefore, often noticed by parents saying ‘Do as I say, no do what I do’ so that the child doesn’t impersonate the activities. It is wrong of us to expect a child to be behaving in a normal way like other adults. They fail to perceive the functions of adults, therefore end up behaving in unknown ways.
