What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“A desire to help students build careers for themselves and help society”

I believe in constant learning and upgrading myself to upskill for the current trends. Teaching and research are my passion and as an educator and academician, I believe in more than just teaching. I also ensure that my students learn the current trends of the job industry.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

“As a leader, I like to delegate tasks and take responsibility for projects”

My leadership style is direct and leading by example so that there is effective delegation and communication. I enjoy delegating tasks and taking lead on projects. Also, stay involved and inspire the team by showing that I am also working along with them to help. I delegate tasks to whoever is best equipped to perform the task and I try to communicate clearly about what needs to be done.

How does the curriculum ensure the best practices of the industry?

“By providing extra training in the form of industry interactions and expert lectures”

Our Institute is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. We follow the syllabus prescribed by the university very diligently. However, our staff identifies the gaps in the curriculum with reference to the current industry requirements. Hence, we arrange for workshops, seminars, lectures by eminent personalities in India and abroad in online mode (due to the present pandemic situation).

What do you think should be the Institute’s top priority over the next 5 years?

“To focus on unhindered education and providing a blended model for learning”

As far as students are concerned, a change in the mindset is required. They have to quickly adapt, reskill rather than upskill and face the challenges in the digital world. We are working on that so that our students are technically ready to be absorbed by industries. Switching over from campus life to the digital world and back to blended mode is essential. We were conducting our classes digitally for the last two years. The transition from classroom to digital was challenging and now again we are switching to classroom teaching. Our priority is to see that academics are not affected.

What do you see as your Institute’s greatest strengths?

“Excellent infrastructure, modern teaching methods and Functional IQAC”

  • Well trained, educated, experienced and energetic teaching staff
  • Supportive non-teaching and laboratory staff
  • Good teaching and learning environment supported by the library
  • Classrooms and well-equipped laboratory
  • Publications in research journals
  • Excellent Extra-Curricular activities
  • Clubs for the students
  • Functional IQAC
  • Active Alumni association

What would you like people to know about your college they may not know?

“Student-centric initiatives and an education that imparts moral and cultural values”

We ensure that moral responsibility and cultural values are rooted apart from academics at our institution. The school has several clubs with active participation from the students. Many students participate in committees related to academics and administration as well.
