BTech ECE is a 4-year program focused on technologies in critical areas such as telecommunications, electricity and electronics, while promoting the development of the skills required to combine hardware and software components.

It is pursued by students that have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects. It involves the study of design, analysis, and application of electronics and communication circuits.

BTech ECE is a four year undergraduate program in Electronics and Communication Engineering consisting of eight semesters.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is amazing to say the least with cricket grounds to football grounds to gym etc. The auditorium has been recently rebuilt and is looking better than ever with a big stage, centralised ac, soft cushioned seats, the back stage is also good. There is a central library on 3rd floor of the building and it is very good for students who want a break from the outside loud world. The library is in two sections, one is walk in free for all and one is for paid members. These members get ac, more comfortable seats, even quiter and peacefull workstation, free issue of books etc. The college campus overall is too big to explore on foot (which is a good thing). Most students are seen using two wheelers or even four wheelers to get from one place to another. The campus is filled with greenery amd scenic views. Even the air feels fresher because of the abundant amounts of green trees present almost everywhere in campus. The overall campus life is amazing, our classes end by 5:30 and we roam around the campus for around an hour and a half and leave when it starts getting dark which is around 7:30. Even then we see a good few students roaming around still which i assume must be from hostel. Some canteens do stay open till night around 8-9PM for hostel students and for others as well. The most common spot for hangout is i would say the canteen right in front of the Buisness Management building (bba). During break around 1-1:30pm most of the students are found there cus its spacious and their food is also very delicious. Even during night time it is completely safe to roam around inside the campus because there are guards almost 24/7 keeping an eye for anything fishy. There is not a big fest culture here but still its good. There are plenty of clubs and commitees in Hamdard with few being ieee, uba, coding ninjas etc

Faculty

Course is easy and curriculum is also good but is little bit advance according to coming technological World. Yes mostly all pass but some rare students fail. Good is that's it's new combination of bbas & computer science and its good for future. Bad is that's there is unnecessary subject in the course which create little bit annoying and hectic in between main subjects( according to me ). Teaching methodology are combined smart boards and normal boards but mainly content on PDFs and all online stuff. Meenakari Ahlawat ma'am I admire the most yes she left the college now but today I feel why see was so strict and why she always tell us to study for future not for now . Yes minimum 60% very important for attendance and 75% as normal mandatory. If comes below 60% you will detend by semester and some fine which I don't know how much.

The sports facilities is my college is good I would say there are indoor as well as outdoor games in my college ...there is a big cricket ground and a football ground for students to play ..yes there is a gymnasium in my college sports complex..there is not a swimming pool in my college...the auditorium and library are good in my college The overall campus life is enjoyable.. most of the students hang out after the classes or play sports..or sit in the canteen..yes the cafeteria is open till night and I have seen people roaming around at night ...the fest season in my college is around oct till Feb like the usual winter time.there are different clubs and societies in my college one of them in which I'm is IEEE Jamia hamdard student branch.

For the admission in my college you have to fill the form of the college online via the website of the college itself...in my case , as said I'm doing engineering so they preferred by JEE mains marks as a the point of admission ...it varies from courses to courses how the admission process is held ..once you are selected then the councelling process starts and after that you get a admission in your course ...once the councelling process is done then the the classes starts after the orientation...yes there are different quota in my college for admission like NRI, sports and DONATION

Yes, in the first and second semesters some or atleast half of the students are bound to fail in few of the subjects in the humanities department. Courses are not much tough. GU seems to prefer their own students over ours in providing marks. It gets difficult for students of masters degrees to clear these backlog papers later. This is a bad aspect of our college that answer sheets are not checked by our own college faculties and are sent to GU for checking. There is one sessional exam per semester and the semester end exams. In a day there are 4-5 classes a day. Timings - 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. Fridays are half days till 12.30 pm. There is one hour break and sometimes two in between the classes. Faculties mostly prefer oral explanation and simplifications of topics and some also prefer dictating notes. I liked Kalpa Jyoti sir and Padminee Gohain ma'am as they are very friendly and approachable. I personally did not like the head of Sociology department, her name is Rinku Borah, that is because she speaks very fast which makes it difficult for students to grab and she is not very regular for classes and does not complete her syllabus before exams. There is not mandatory attendance for Masters students.

Campus is very big and very beautiful lush green, and university infrastructure is also descent. Sports facilities are also provided by the university , very big cricket and football ground with flood lights equipped and basket ball court also there and there is indoor sports complex also which have gym, badminton court, table tennis also . About the university auditorium is also very big and university also has central library which has end number of books for all programs which are very easily accessible . hostel is 10-15 mins far from college, students usually prefer walking but they can also bring bike and car also in the university. There are many food stalls and canteen at every 5-10 mins walking distance. There is very big medical center , all the doctors and nurse are qualified. 1.Course curriculum is easy. People can pass easily with the notes given by teacher during classes.students get backlog in exam if they haven't studied properly or if they don't have proper attendance.you are only allowed to give examination if you have 75%attendance. 2.Good aspect is that the courses are easy but the bad aspect is that it is majorly theory based and not practical. 3.There are two exams per semester . One is mid term exam for 20 marks in between our semester and second is end term exam i.e final exam for 70marks.other marks are internal marks based on our attendance, assignment and mid term. 4.Generally we have 4-5 classes on daily basis and we get some class gaps in between but college run from9:10 am to 5 Pm. But generally our classes gets end till 4 pm. 5.faculties teaches us with the help of PPT. 6.The teacher I most admired is Shilpa Pandey ma'am and suchita panda ma'am as both of the teacher are sweet, linient and their way of teaching is very good. 7.I don't admire Gazala ma'am as she shout very much and she is irresponsible. 8.there is a mandatory attendance criteria that is 75%.you are only allowed to give examination if you have 75%attendance.

Campus infra is amazing they have all the facilities - 1)5 Gyms in campus separate for girls and boys 2)Pool snooker table above allmart 3) karate coaching 4) badminton indoor courts and outdoor courts in 6 blocks 5) swimming for both boys and girls seperate 6) 2 Libraries VIT has more than 5 auditoriums and all are top notch, the library is very well equipped and you can get any book that is there in the curriculum. Medical centre is called chettinad centre and has an ambulance facility that takes students from their hostel to the medical centre. Overall the campus life is amazing there even with the in time restrictions. Students go out in the day time, there is a movie hall nearby and if you take an auto you can go to the mall as well. It's a very lively place outside the campus. About the club's and chapters I have already mentioned in my previous answers but will say again. I was the internal secretary of the music club and there are clubs and chapters for dance, drama, IEEE, munsoc, robotics, aisec etc. One has got so many options.
