XAT 2019 was conducted on January 6, 2019. XAT 2019 Question paper introduced landmark changes in the exam pattern. The most significant change was the inclusion of the NAT (Numerical Answer Type) questions in the exam wherein the student had to write the numerical answer using the virtual keypad provided. XAT 2019 question paper also did away with the essay writing section due to which the duration of the exam was reduced to 180 minutes from 210 minutes. Another major decision was the exclusion of the General Knowledge section while preparing the merit list of the students eligible for the counselling process.
