TOEFL Test Day Requirements
- Valid ID-Original copy of passport. Driving licenses, pan cards, and other IDs are not acceptable. The name and signature in the Id must be similar to that used during registration and the photo must be a recent one. The passport is the only valid Id in India. Other IDs like driving license, credit card, birth certificate, or employment ID are invalid.
- Registration Number-Printout of the registration confirmation. The TOEFL test centers would verify the registration form before getting into the exam center.
Things to be Remembered on the Test day :
- Before the exam: Reach the exam center at least 30 minutes before the test. No electric gadgets are allowed. Candidates would be subjected to electronic scanning, photographed, given a seat, and sign a confidentiality agreement before the examination for security reasons.
- For the writing section: Candidates can raise their hands in case of any doubts. Though there is a 10 minutes break in between, candidates can take an additional break for when they need to sign in and sign out. But the time won’t be paused during this break. There would be a rough paper for extra work but it has to be returned afterward.
- After the exam: The TOEFL score would be available after 10 days. The PDF version would be available after 13 days and the scores can be mailed to colleges after 13 days of the exam.
