The admission process for my course, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), involved appearing for the JEE Main entrance exam.
The eligibility criteria included passing the 10+2 examination with the necessary subjects and securing a valid JEE Main score. To apply,
I had to fill out the application form online, which was available on the official JEE website. There was an application fee associated with the
form submission. The cutoff for CSE was in the range of 50,000 to 55,000 rank in the Common Rank List (CRL) for candidates from my home state. However, there were variations in the cutoff for different categories and home state quota candidates. During the counseling process conducted
AKTU, home state candidates, and other reserved categories received certain benefits, like relaxed cutoffs or additional seats. One improvement I would
suggest for the admission process is expediting the counseling process to reduce waiting times and streamline seat allotment.
