Course Description
Admission is through the UP. State Entrance Examination (UPSEE). 100% intake is through the UPSEE based on merit. Steps for applying to secure admission are given below:
- The student needs to apply to the institute by filling the online application form along with the application fee.

I can give you some information on both institutes since I have friends from both IET Lucknow and JSS Noida. Based on the reviews that I got from my friends I will say choosing JSS Noida will be better. It has a locational advantage, which plays a crucial role.
- The curriculum of JSS Noida is in accordance with the current industry trends. In the first two semesters, you will learn the same courses as any other engineering institutes in India. You can get the detailed syllabus from the website.
- JSS has a good reputation in the industry. Alumni of the institute are working on Google, Microsoft, etc. Many reputed companies visit the campus for the placement drive including IBM, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, etc.
For IET, the location is an issue. The faculty and curriculum are not that great either. So, I will suggest you choose JSS Noida.
What should I choose, IT in BIET Jhansi or CS in JSS Noida?

I have heard a lot about JSS Noida as my brother graduated from this college last year. JSS being a private college charges a higher amount than BIET.
Both of the colleges are good enough to take admission but let’s compare it with a few factors.
- The infrastructure of BIET isn’t up to the mark whereas JSS Noida is well-maintained and has a beautiful campus that includes greenery as well.
- The hostel services and the premises of BIET are cheaper and aren’t well-furnished.
- As Jhansi is in Bundelkhand and it is a small city, BIET doesn’t provide good facilities because of its location.
- On the contrary, the students of JSS Noida have the access to prepare for any other competitive exams like CAT, UPSC, GATE, CSE, ESE, GMAT/GRE and many more.
- Noida is near Ghaziabad, which is the NCT of Delhi and many coaching institutes run in Ghaziabad.
- This fortunate opportunity isn’t available for the students of Jhansi.

While the highest CTC received by the students is around INR 40 LPA.

It is highly recommended because of the following reasons:

Alumni of MMM Gorakhpur are in India as well as in other countries working at prestigious positions. The institution has been given the status of a university from a college and there are proposals for it to be promoted to an NIT or an IIT. It can be said that MMM Gorakhpur has a bright future.

Some points to be kept in mind before choosing any institute:
- IT is just a part of CSE and not as effective. A few universities do not recognize IT Branch which might create problems for higher studies.
- JSS Noida has witnessed drastic changes in terms of placement. The records have gone down. The IT program at JSS Noida is at par with CSE as far as placements and infrastructure are concerned.
- The only disadvantage that KIET students would face is the location of the institute. Apart from this, students enjoy awesome campus facilities and lush greenery on campus.
- In terms of academics, KIET has the maximum number of students scoring more than 90% in their semester exams.
- In 2020, CSE and IT departments at KIET saw good placements, over 90% of the CSE students were placed with names like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, and many more.
- One should not expect facilities like IITs or NITs. The average package for both institutes ranges between 3-4 LPA.
Lastly, a word of advice if you could, try contemplating well before joining either of these colleges. The attendance schedule is quite strict in AKG like KIET. Remember that companies visit to hire students of both IT and CSE and not just CSE.
