- Psychology at Waterloo is a world-class department in one of Canada's best universities. Founded in the early 1960s, the Department has grown to become one of the most esteemed Departments of Psychology in Canada.
- The Department is intensely research-oriented and intellectually exciting with many research groups, centers, and labs.
- The University of Waterloo (UWaterloo) is consistently ranked as the most innovative and as among the top three comprehensive universities in Canada. - The Department of Psychology includes 42 faculty members, approximately equally divided over six major research areas: Clinical, Cognitive, Cognitive Neuroscience, Developmental, Industrial/Organizational, and Social. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should have an Honours Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Psychology with at least an 80% overall standing, in the last two years, or equivalent.
- Completion of the Department of Psychology Application.
- Students should submit results from the Graduate Record Examination (Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytic scores).
- Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
- The GRE exam score is not required but if given will be encouraged.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.
- CAEL - Canadian Academic English Language.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Completed a master’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
