Undergraduate students in the Department of Physics participate in faculty research programs, present at many conferences, and co-author publications in major scientific journals.
Physicists work may range from highly complex and theoretical studies, to more practical activities which relate theory to practical needs.
This is a four-year program designed for students planning graduate study in physics, graduate study in an allied field such as engineering, industrial/business employment, and other professional schools. Majors complete a well-balanced curriculum, concentrating on theoretical and experimental physics, computational physics and mathematics.

Academic Requirements:
- Must have graduated from secondary school
- Submit all the unofficial transcripts of previous school attended
- SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English language proficiency scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in iBT; 8.5 in Essentials
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 105
