The Department of Economics is charged with delivering two of the foundational classes for the degree, i.e. Microeconomics and Economics of Global Business. Depending on their interests and professional aspirations, students can then choose from a large set of electives, and can opt for one of the concentrations offered by the department, Business Economics and Econometrics & Quantitative Economics (EQE).

- Business Economics provides you with an effective framework to understand how developments in technology, consumers’ orientation, the competitive landscape, public policy as well as in geopolitics, affect your ability to pursue your goals
- Econometrics & Quantitative Economics
- Econometrics & Quantitative Economics is a STEM-eligible program and will acquaint you with the analytical toolkit of the modern professional economist, which includes coding, statistical methods, and advanced mathematics

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- A Candidate needed to provide Senior School Certificate or School certificate awarded after standard XII.
- English and Maths (advanced or academic level) are required in grade 12.
- Two Science 12 grade level is required.
- One Additional 12 grade course (advanced or academic level) is needed.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they have any one of the following certificates:
- All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSCE)
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
- Indian School Certificate (ISC)
- Intermediate Examination Certificate
- Pre-University Examination Certificate
- Students must have a Grade XII chemistry or Grade XII physics.
- Students also hold Grade XII math (Minimum math result of 55%).
