Campus Life

The facilities overall were okay. Being in NYC area, we didn’t really have much of a campus except 2-3 buildings. There were plenty of student- led events and opportunities to connect with people from other programs.

I found off-campus housing in Brooklyn. It would be wise to budget at least $2k/ month in living expenses because NYC is expensive!

New York is an expensive city.. so the avg cost is around $600-800 per month.. for a room sharing with a roommate.. the living costs are much higher ..

New York university is one the best highly reputed universities. The biggest advantage being it’s location.. based in the heart of New York city.. where there are abundant opportunities and jobs for everyone.

Dorm rooms come in all varieties and some rooms are shareable (double rooms) whereas some are singles. Room and bird can cost anywhere from (10000 USD per year to 30000 USD per year)

I liked being in a busy city and since I wanted to study business, there is no better place to be than in NYC. Also, this program is one of the best-ranked undergraduate business programs in the world.

No I lived in an apartment in Brooklyn half hour away from school campus. I had a private room ($700/month) and used subway (public train) everyday.

Good research output, good programs in Mechanical Engg, nice city, and good scholarship.

I chose this school because it was the best business school I was accepted to. I knew I wanted to study business and stern is top-ranked. I also love the location of this school. Living in the city is great and has afforded me many opportunities.

Off-campus is much better since the commute is the same, however for your initial semester you would want to stay close to campus. Off-campus is a cheaper option with same commute timings from Brooklyn.

It is good for it's Ranking, School & Place.

Location was unbeatable in the heart of NYC and had good undergraduate programs as well for an undecided major like me. It also was a big school which I was looking for and was close to home for me but still out of state.

besides classes, we used to have interactive sessions with various law firm's partners and even college or student unions used to have receptions at various law firms for interactive purposes.
