Campus
- The University has two campuses: Main Alfred and Wellsville Campus.
- Majors for School of Arts and Sciences, School of Architecture, Management, and Engineering Technology are found in Alfred Campus.
- Schools of Applied Technology are found in Wellsville Campus except Motorcycle/ Power Sports and Motorsports Technology that are based in Alfred Campus.
- The Alfred State University Campus includes various cultural diversity students such as Caucasian, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, etc.
- Students can avail services of the Hinkle Memorial Library for their research or study, which is more than 50 years old now.
- The campus also provides for Health and Wellness Services in case of any accident, illness, need of counselling, etc.
- The campus also has a Bret Llewellyn Art Gallery which was founded in the year 2010 that exhibits student’s art works along with other established artists.

- There are 9 housing options available to the students. They have certain rules regarding the different kinds of lifestyles of the students such as Baccalaureate Lifestyle, 24 and over lifestyle, 21 and over lifestyle, substance-free lifestyle, etc.
- Townhouses: This consists of 25 apartments where each can accommodate 6 students. Each apartment consists of private bedrooms, a full kitchen, living room and bathrooms. Laundry facilities are available in the Commons Building. The residents may opt for the Townhouse Meal Plans.

Alfred State University provides many student loans and various scholarships for international students to study in the US. among which, a few of them are listed down below:
- Vocational Excellence Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to first-time freshman students for programs in School of Applied Technology at Wellsville Campus. It is applied to non-tuition expenses and multiple scholarships may be available. Students require at least an 83 at high school and should exhibit excellence academically, through education, internships, competitions, etc. The reward is for $2,000. Students are required to maintain a 2.5 GPA for the continuation of funding. Two letters of recommendation for qualified individuals is also required.
- Culinary Academic Scholarship: A reward of $1,200 is offered to students who are enrolling in culinary arts. Students must have at least 80% and be in the top 50 of their class.
- John Plail Work Ethic Endowed Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to students enrolling in a business program. Students require an 80 or higher high school average. Letter of interest and a well-written document identifying the student's goal is required to be submitted by April 1st to the Admissions Office.
- Eugene Jacobs Memorial Educational Foundation Endowed Scholarship: $1,000 offered to students enrolling in a baccalaureate degree program. Applicants must have 85% at least overall high school average through the junior year along with 3.0 cumulative GPA to be considered.
- Miller/Neverett Memorial Endowed Scholarship: Offered to students who portray academic excellence and show potential for campus service as evidenced by previous involvement in organizations and activities.
