Campus Life

The campus itself is huge with about four buildings dedicated to the life sciences. There are several student clubs catering to multiple interests like research programming robotics dance music add a lot more. The campus is very lively and continuously has some or the other events going on. And the best part is you will always find free food on campus. My favorite Spot is the student center with several activities for students to do in between classes or anytime over the weekends. They also have a state of the art gym and multiple basketball courts and running tracks on campus along with a full size football field.

While northeastern has a lot of dorms available, most graduate students prefer to live off in off campus apartments. I personally live in a shared 3 bedroom apartment with a few of my fellow students belonging to different streams. Boston as a city is slightly expensive in terms of rent, but we?ve scored a good accommodation that is close to the university.

Campus Life

There are a dozen of clubs which will spark your interest. They meet once every week and there are a ton of events which you have to be a part of. Other things about Campus life, you have 24/7 WIFI access inside the university, Sports Centre for the Athlete inside you, a very well functioning Library where you get most of your projects and homework done.

Off campus is where I had my accommodation. It's cheaper than the University accommodation of you're taking like a 3bhk and share it with 2 other roommates. Avg rental in Boston was about 1000 USD for a room.

I am currently staying at an apartment with seniors which is 10 minute walk from University. Various accommodations are available around northeastern at an effective cost and also convenience stores nearby walking distance.

The coursework of the degree and course that I have selected perfectly aligns with my interest. Moreover, the location of the university is in the prime area of Boston, mainly a hub of opportunities where you can grow and gain experience while studying. Also, the university has a CO-OP option which allows a student to intern with a company for a certain duration and also has credits for that. It really impacts your job profile after your graduation. The university provides various services for students and it is really fun to study at Northeastern. The weather experienced in Boston is also perfect in definition as you can enjoy each type of weather here and is it a great place to live in.

No, I plan to live off-campus, there are a few neighborhoods where most of the students live like Scarborough, north york, and Brampton. (These locations are about 1.5 Hrs away from campus and public transit is available)

The program offered at Northeastern for Project management is much more professional and updated as compared with other Universities. Northeastern is the only University in the US that offers a master's program in project management. The courses in this program were specific to my requirements and also Ranking/Reputation of this university also made me choose Northeastern over other institutions in Canada.

I live in an off-campus accommodation with 4 other people. Boston is an expensive place. I pay around $520 for rent and other utilities.

The northeastern university has outstanding resources for academic exploration, it has a well-balanced curriculum with respect to IT and management courses. This flexibility is perfectly a line with my interests. Plus it has a fantastic Coop program which will allow me to work for 4-9 months after 1 year of study.

Mostly because of the combined major options - Business & Design. In addition to this, they offer a co-op program which gives students full time paid work semesters which prepares us for the real world before we graduated.

Yes. The first-year dorms are nice with dining halls downstairs however the costs are expensive. It's around $5000 for room and board, and an additional $2200 for student insurance (which is barely used).

I chose my university because it was in a city and it had a diverse student population.
