I chose my university because it was in a city and it had a diverse student population.
Course Curriculum
It's really good, Northeastern students typically complete 2 co-ops and Northeastern has a good network of employers and jobs.
Exams
Since I applied to only American universities, I had to write a Common App essay, plus a supplemental essay for selected universities. I had to send my CV along with my TOEFL scores.
Placement
There are some amazing placement/co-op opportunities. Wayfair is one company that has greatly associated with Northeastern to provide jobs.
Internship
I interned at Designer Parfums in the UK. The monthly salary was around 1,200 and I got the job through a referral.
Fees
Around $65,000 a year.
Scholarship
I received two scholarships which were merit-based. One was at the University of San Francisco (I do not remember the amount) and one was at the University of Tampa ($20,000).
Faculty
Some professors are better than others. The professor that has left an incredible impact on me is Dr. Madhavi Venkatesan.
Hostel
Yes. The first-year dorms are nice with dining halls downstairs however the costs are expensive. It's around $5000 for room and board, and an additional $2200 for student insurance (which is barely used).
