Because of the professor experience and the city. Job aspects were better in Boston which was also one of my main requirements.
Course Curriculum
The focus was more on a practical approach and that's what is needed for the industry. We had alot of projects every semester and only a few of the classes were written tests
Exams
My scores: GRE: 1. Verbal: 149 2. Quant: 158 3. Writing: 3.9 TOEFL: 110/120
Placement
Boston has a very good opportunity for placements being the Hub of international students. I would assume, around 75% of the students get placed once they complete their graduation.
Internship
Yes. Eversource. 27.5 USD/HR.
Fees
40,000 USD
Scholarship
No.
Faculty
Faculty was very helpful in every way possible. They are good in their respective classes. Most of them had tons of experience in their respective fields which made it easier for us to understand given their examples of industrial exposure.
Campus Life
There are a dozen of clubs which will spark your interest. They meet once every week and there are a ton of events which you have to be a part of. Other things about Campus life, you have 24/7 WIFI access inside the university, Sports Centre for the Athlete inside you, a very well functioning Library where you get most of your projects and homework done.
Hostel
Off campus is where I had my accommodation. It's cheaper than the University accommodation of you're taking like a 3bhk and share it with 2 other roommates. Avg rental in Boston was about 1000 USD for a room.
