The philosophy of the Nursing Department faculty about key constructs and concepts provide the foundation for the program. Caring is viewed as the paradigm for the department. The key concepts existing within that paradigm are critical thinking/teaching-learning, person, nursing, environment, and health.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must submit official transcripts of secondary school and post secondary school
- Submit an essay of 2-5 pages
- Submit two teacher recommendation forms
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Proficiency Test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 68 in iBT; 520 in PBT; 190 in CBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 95
- PTE: minimum 58
