The Global Studies major at Lasell has a professional focus, rooted in Connected Learning, that seeks to educate students by promoting self-expression, academic exploration and critical thinking in academic, civic, and career-relevant areas.

With the Global Studies degree program, the world becomes the classroom as students activate a personal affiliation with and responsibility for the globe.
Students earn academic credit through service learning that is organized to connect them to the greater community while deepening and enriching their education in their discipline.
The Global Studies major is intentionally interdisciplinary to allow students to follow their passions while still receiving a solid foundation rooted in the Humanities.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

High School transcript (including 1st marking period senior year grades)
Personal statement or essay on a topic of own choice (250 word minimum)
1 letter or form of recommendation (must be from an academic teacher or counselor)
SAT/ACT scores (optional) Lasell University has a Test-Optional Policy. If the applicants believe on their standardized tests support their candidacy, Applicants are encouraged to submit their scores (CEEB code: 3481).
