Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Applicants must hold a four-year bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or chemistry or a related field or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • A GPA of at least 2.75/4.0 (B+ or 76%) is required to be eligible for the program.
  • Undergraduate coursework required includes completion of the following with a grade of B or better: microbiology, organic chemistry, pre-Calculus, upper-level genetics, and cell biology.

Indian Student Eligibility:

  • Students must complete an undergraduate degree with first-class in a relevant field from a highly ranked university in India.
  • Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
