SBU Ranchi provides a wide range of scholarships based on the category of the candidates or merit of the qualifying examination. Students applying for the scholarships must note that they have submitted original and valid documents. Given below are the SBU Ranchi Scholarships:

SBU Ranchi General Scholarships
This Scholarship Scheme is only applicable to the students who produce original and valid documents at the time of Counselling. However, students availing of any of these scholarships will not be eligible for Internal Scholarship / Merit. The scholarship percentage will be applicable only on the tuition fee in all the semesters, and not on Hostel Fee / Transport Fee. Tabulated below are the SBU Ranchi General Scholarships:

| Sarala Birla Public School Students | 25% on Tuition fee only for all semesters |
| Students with differently able. | 25% on Tuition fee only for all semesters |
| Kashmiri Migrant Students. | 15% on Tuition fee only for all semesters |
SBU Ranchi Scholarships on Diploma/UG/PG Courses
SBU Ranchi Scholarships for students pursuing Diploma/UG/PG courses will be applied only on producing documents of the qualifying exam. Scholarship provided at the time of admission will be subject to verification of original documents in Counselling. The scholarship percentage will be applicable only on the tuition fee in all the semesters, and not on Hostel Fee / Transport Fee. Tabulated below are the SBU Ranchi Scholarships on Diploma/UG/PG Courses:

| Merit scholarship | 70% marks or above in qualifying examination | 10% on Tuition fee in all semesters |
SBU Ranchi Internal Scholarships on Diploma/UG/PG Courses
SBU Ranchi Internal Scholarship on Diploma/UG/PG Courses will be applicable only on one consecutive semester, and will not be applied on Hostel Fee / Transport Fee. Given below are the details of the same:
