Vellore Institute of Technology has maintained an excellent placement record by providing its students with ample opportunities to blossom their career goals. The university has been ranked at the 28th, 55th, and 15th positions by the NIRF under the Overall, Management, and Engineering categories respectively. The placement season for the 2022 batch started on July 15.
In the placement drive of 2022, 1175 placement offers were made, among which, 246 were super dream offers & 354 were dream offers. A total of 627 students were placed. The highest salary offered was INR 63 LPA & students received an average salary of INR 7.3 LPA.
The placement drive engaged 805 recruiters. Some of the major recruiters included Amazon, Adobe, Walmart, Deloitte, Microsoft, VISA, Goldman Sachs etc.

The company or firms visited here are Infosys, TCS, Luthra & Luthra, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. 80% of every student are placed every year in top companies or firms.

From semester 7 students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies came last year some of the top companies are Google, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, and Infosys, more than 2,500 offers were made in total by these companies. 90 percent of students are getting placed in my college. I will secure a job in the IT sector after getting the degree.
