Aligarh Muslim University - [AMU], Aligarh - Scholarship Details

The course fee is affordable for any student as it is 16,000 rs in 1st year which go down to 5,000 Rs. in 2nd, 3rd and 4th year. The university provides financial assistance such as the VC fund, Sultan Jahan Scholarship and State scholarship, and Central Scholarship for needy students.

The fee is affordable as Aligarh Muslim University is a government University so the fee is very less and affordable. University also gives many scholarships to students to afford their studies. And also it gives scholarships to study abroad named- SSGSA

Although the fees for the program are very affordable for almost everyone. Also, there are so many scholarship opportunities offered by University and the government itself for women students who cannot afford them.

If we talk about the fee structure of the course then you can't imagine how cheap are the fees here. You only have to pay 18 to 19 thousand per year and the hostel fee is also included only you have to pay for the dining facility and which is also cheap 1400 per month and the food quality is good. For a three years course fee structure, First-year students have to pay ten thousand as admission fees for the in second year six thousand five hundred and the same for the third year. There is only one scholarship which is the National scholarship I got on campus ever.

The total fees of our college is 18000rs per annum. And there is no fees hike policy available in our college. I think the fees is very much affordable to anyone who want to pursue B Arch. Yes, there are scholarship available to us which are UP government scholarship and centeral government scholarship.

The fee policy of AMU is quite good. My course fee was only 9475 Rs in the first year. And In 2nd year, I paid 6645 Rs. You will be charged more in 1st year because it includes many charges like a development fee, Maintenance fee, Sherwani(a type of uniform) fee, etc. But in the 2nd year, you have to pay less. You can apply for scholarships like NSP, UP state government scholarships, etc. AMU alumni are also very kind they also provide scholarships to students. An NGO named Sultan Jahan manages all the scholarships of AMU alumni Associations. You can apply to Sultan Jahan for Scholarship. There is also the facility for merit scholarships on our campus. For which you have to pass a test which is being conducted by the department of your chosen course.

The cost of the study is very less and we have no extra fees for practicals as well as for extra curriculum activities we have many scholarship programs and we have very much jobs opportunities for freshers as well as internal students.
