Aligarh Muslim University Review

Remarks :

If we talk about the eligibility for the course, AMU has conducted its entrance for btech named AMUEEE and you can easily find the application form online. There is 50 reservation for internal students who complete more than 3 years in amu in any course to get an internal certificate and the rest is for outsiders. Everything is good and no problem in the admission process

Course Curriculum Overview :

Civil engineering at amu is pretty good because of its faculty members. All other branches are also good but the civil faculty is excellent. You can easily find faculty who did PHD Or Mtech for different iit's and practical work is very good you can find the latest technologies in every branch.

Placement Experience :

From 6 to 7-semester students become eligible for campus placement there are lots of companies visiting here like Wipro, TCS, Microsoft, engineers limited and lots of companies visiting here I don't remember the name right now but placement here is good. The highest package is 1.2 or 1.3 crore is something a student from computer engineering. An average of 65 students is placed. If we talk about low placement percentage then the reason is lots of students opt for higher studies even after placements because of a good education system.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If we talk about the fee structure of the course then you can't imagine how cheap are the fees here. You only have to pay 18 to 19 thousand per year and the hostel fee is also included only you have to pay for the dining facility and which is also cheap 1400 per month and the food quality is good. You can find lots of scholarship programmes here.

Campus Life :

I see lots of fests here because of central university but especially for engineering college fest named Zarf23 is going now in which lots of programmes is going now like several YouTubers, celebrities, and singers are coming here, tech fest is also going now

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities provided by the university are very cheap and the best as I mentioned before the fee of the hostel is 3 to 3.5 thousand per year and you get one bed, study table, chair, wardrobe, Ro facilities. The meal fee is 1400/month and the meal quality is pretty good. If you rent a PG outside the university then it is costly compared to the university fees. About 2 to 2.5 k per month is PG rent here and if u call for tiffin service then it cost is 2.5 to 3k per/month

The students become eligible for placements from the sixth semester itself. Companies start visiting the college in the mid of the sixth semester. If you are from a computer background then be assured of 100% placement. Other courses available are MBA, BCA MTECH integrated etc. Mostly every student gets placed to maintain the reputation of the college. It has an average package of 500000 per year. After getting the degree I'll be working in the software field

The placement at my colleagues is good. We are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. The companies that visited my college are Infosys, HCL, Dot square and many more. I don't have any information about that offers. The highest package of my college is 25 lpa and the average package of my college is 3 lpa. 70-80% of students get the placements. My plan after getting the degree is to start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was okay, and I think we can't do anything about it because it is decided by AKTU university. Also, I think B Tech with Computer Science Engineering is a good course. Also, it comes with a lot of job opportunities as well. The faculty: student ratio is around 1: 30( average of all branches ). The teachers are also highly qualified. The exams usually happen at least 4 times in a semester( 3 sessional and 1 PUT ), and these are moderately difficult to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good at ITM College, Aligarh. The faculty members are also very good and the management is also very good. The faculty : student ratio in ITM College, Aligarh is 1: 70 for the B.Tech Computer Science branch. While for another branch it is around 1: 25. The teachers are also very qualified and they had even more than 15+ years of experience. Our exams are organized regularly to help students to get good marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to be a software engineer because most of my family members are software engineers so, that's why I chose to do this. The faculty ratio of the college would be approx 1 teacher on 70 students. Most of the faculty have done BTech and Mtech with respected college and they are well experienced in their subjects and their teaching method is good. We easily understand their lectures. The duration between the semester exams is an average of 4 to 5 months and this is enough for the preparation of examinations. And the exams are not easy to pass. One has to study hard to pass the exams.

As there are a lot of job opportunities in this branch and course. Faculty are in proportion with that if students. All facilities are Ph.D. Exams are moderated and difficult and in each semester, we have sessional and pre-University.

Placement Experience:

Company placements are available starting in the sixth semester. Amazon recently offered the highest package, worth 2.3 crores. There are numerous employers, including Gibbons, Matlab, Laursen, and Toubro. The proportion of pupils who get placed is high and is occasionally gradually rising. Personally, after finishing my undergraduate degree, I wish to pursue an M.S.
