Sastra University B.Tech Eligibility

• The candidate should have passed 12 standard with Physics, Maths and Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology as their subjects from any recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 60% in one attempt.
• The students opting for vocational subjects, eligibility is based on the theory subjects taken.
• The candidates who have done diploma in Engineering/Technology are eligible to get direct admission to 2nd year of the B.Tech Programme (Lateral Entry).

Sastra University B.Tech Selection Criteria

• The candidates are granted admission on the basis of the marks scored in JEE Main and XII standard boards, followed by a normalization process.
• After the normalization, a merit list is released for granting admission.

Apart from B.Tech of 4 years, a five year integrated B.tech+M.Tech program is also supported by the college.

• The candidates are granted admission on the basis of the marks scored in JEE Mains and 12 standard boards, followed by a normalization process.

Sastra University offers M.Tech degree in various specializations listed below:

Eligibility

The candidates should have completed a B.Tech/B.E. degree in that particular field to which the candidate is seeing admission from any recognized University or accepted by SASTRA.

Sastra University M.Tech Selection Criteria

Admission to M.Tech is given on the basis of marks scored in Undergraduate degree from SASTRA University or any other equivalent University. Preference is given to candidates who have appeared for GATE.

The college offers a two year complete programme of MBA. The basic information is as follows:

Sastra University MBA Eligibility

• The candidate should have a graduate degree from any recognized university/institution.
• The candidate should have appeared for entrance exams for management courses such as CAT/CMAT/XAT.

Selection Criteria

Admission is granted through marks scored in CAT/ XAT or CMAT.

• The candidates should have completed XII standard with a minimum aggregate of 50%
• For integrated law courses, CLAT score is mandatory for students. 

Sastra University UG Admissions Selection Criteria

• Admission is granted on the basis of merit list declared by the college on the basis of marks scored in XII standard from any recognized board.
• For integrated law courses, admission is granted on the basis of marks scored in CLAT.

In PG domain, apart from M.Tech and MBA, the college offers M.Sc, MCA, MFA, M.Com and MA courses.

• For M.Sc, the candidate should have completed B.Sc with an aggregate minimum of 50%.

The following candidates are eligible for PhD programme at SASTRA University:
