I think CSE is one of the highest demanded branches so I chose it. The faculty-student ratio is low. Most of the faculties are PHD scholars and there are many foreign faculty as well. Exams are held almost every week due to the surprise test system but they are not very tough to pass one has to just attend lectures.
I chose this course because I am interested in electronics and this is the branch where I got my marks. The faculty-student ratio varies with different subjects but on average in lectures, the ratio is 1:100 and in Tutorials it's 1:40. The faculty are really qualified with many of them having PhDs from top colleges like IITs, NITs, and many foreign universities. The midsems were taken on time and the syllabus was completed on time too. Overall the midsems were moderately difficult with some subjects being on the easier side but others being quite hard.
I wanted to become an electrical engineer and I wanted to pursue it at one of the most prestigious colleges in our country, so I chose this course. Faculties at bits Pilani are very good and we have a student-to-faculty ratio of about 8:1. Talking about faculty, most of them hold Ph. D.s from abroad and graduated from the top universities of the world. Some of them graduated from Bits Pilani. So overall all the faculties are very good.
I chose this course because I was interested in the manufacturing and management domain overall. I wanted some dynamic career options which I was not able to get if I pursued coding as a profession. Faculties are qualified and have done their masters/Phd/Research from either iits or any international highly ranked institute. Faculty to student ratio is really good. It depends on the branch you are in like in manufacturing it is around 1 faculty per 30 students and also it depends on the courses you take after choosing your branch. The teaching methodology is good and most of the faculties use slides for their respective courses and the same is provided to students after the topic is completed. Exams are conducted on a regular basis, we have both mid-semester examinations and comprehensive/end-term examinations which have more weightage than mid-term exam examinations. These examinations are on a little difficult side compared to regular evaluations like tutorial tests/quizzes etc.
Because I wanted to explore the field of electronics and also there is flexibility to choose courses from other verticals. The faculty-student ratio is very good. Most of the faculty has done master's and Phd.
