No, there is no integrated maths and statistics course at BITS Pilani. The primary focus of its mathematics program is on pure subject aspects and its application. Despite not having an integrated course, the mathematics program at BITS Pilani provides a solid foundation for students interested in further studies or disciplines like statistics.

It provides students the option of pursuing electives along with the main degree. So you can pursue an MSc in mathematics from BITS Pilani with a specialisation in statistics. It will offer you a pathway to learn about statistics concepts while obtaining an understanding of mathematics.

BITS Pilani doesn't offer a specialized course similar to the ones offered at institutions like ISI Kolkata. Instead, their mathematics curriculum is more theoretical and conceptually based. While they do have subjects related to statistics such as Probability and Statistics, Optimization, and Operations Research, these are common courses that students across different disciplines may take.

This information is valuable for students considering BITS Pilani for their studies, as it helps them make informed decisions about their academic choices. It's always a good idea for prospective students to research and understand the specific programs and courses offered by an institution to ensure they align with their academic and career goals.

Studied M.Sc Mathematics at BITS Pilani (2014)

BITS Pilani does not offer any such course, although they offer an M.Sc degree in Mathematics.

Maths taught in BITS Pilani is not at all related to the likes of ISI Kolkata. The course curriculum at BITS Pilani is a lot theoretical and conceptually based. However, they have some of the subjects related to Statistics such as Probability and Statistics, Optimisation, Operation Research. But these are common courses to all of the disciplines.

Thus, even if you take up any different discipline, you will get to learn all these.
