Ans. Yes, BITSom accepts sponsored candidates, but the admission process will be the same as the non-sponsored candidates. 

Ans. To be eligible for the Merit-cum-Need based scholarship, the applicant’s family income, including applicant’s personal income, should not be more than INR 18 Lakhs annually.

Ans. The interviews at BITSoM will be conducted online through zoom. The candidates can choose their interview slots according to their preference. 

Ans. The BITSoM campus is within 1km from the residential complex. It takes approximately 5-10 minutes to travel by the shuttle, subject to traffic conditions.

Ans. The student apartments are air conditioned, fully furnished with a working kitchen set up. WiFi, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Induction Plate, Bed Linen are some of the amenities provided to the students. There is also a provision for doctor on call, parking facility and paid laundry service. The residential complex is equipped with 24×7 security for the safety of the students.

Ans. Apart from access to the classrooms and the library, the students have access to dining facilities, cafe, first – aid, wellness center etc.

Ans. Yes, it is mandatory for the BITSoM students to stay at the campus residence. 

Ans. Placements will start in November/December every year, for final year students. While a few companies may start coming in from October onwards, the placements will continue till the end of March.
