Pondicherry University provides separate accommodation for girls and boys with all the necessary facilities like mess food facility, security, regular water and electricity supply, etc. PU campus has 22 hostels which includes 14 hostels for Boys, 7 hostels for Girls and 1 hostel for Foreign Students.

A - Refundable Charges:

• For Indian Students : 3000/-
• For International Students : 6000/-         

B - Non - Refundable Charges:

• P.G students - 900/- p.a.
• Ph.D - 1800/- p.a.
• General Amenities Fund - 700/- p.a.
• Establishment Charges -300/- p.a.
• Application Fees (at the time of admission only) – 75/

Note:                  

No room rent is charged by the Pondicherry University from girl students and SC/ ST boy students (copy of community certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer is to be produced). Rent free accommodation to differently-abled students.
