As per NIRF report 2023 submitted by University of Kasmir, 119 UG, 346 PG, and 39 Integrated PG students were placed during Kashmir University placements 2022. UG students median package ranged between INR 5 LPA and INR 8 LPA. PG students median package was INR 7 LPA. Integrated PG students were offered a median salary of INR 5 LPA. Kashmir University Admission

Kashmir University admission is done through online mode. Candidates who wish to apply are required to visit the official website of the university and submit the application form. Kashmir University courses are offered at Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctorate levels in department of Arts, Science, Engineering, Management, Law, Education, Medicine, etc. Admissions are granted on the basis of merit. Kashmir University Reservation

Kashmir University provides reservations to SC/ ST category candidates and students under different categories. Out of total seats, 67% of seats are filled through Open merit category candidates. The remaining 33% of seats available in the program will be filled up from amongst the reserved categories in order of merit. The table below represents the category-wise reservation criteria.

Kashmir University Result

The university conducts term-end examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Students can check the results of their respective courses by visiting the official website of the university. The notification for results is published on the official website and students must check it on a regular basis to get the latest updates. Along with the UG and PG courses, students can also check the DDE exam result.

Kashmir University has a separate portal for evaluation results for those students who fail in the examination. They can apply by visiting the examination tab and select the desired course and the result will be displayed.

Kashmir University Admit Card

Candidates will have to download the University of Kashmir Admit Cards in order to give entrance examinations for UG, PG or any diploma course. The university notifies the publication for the admit cards in their general notification section.

Kashmir University Scholarship

Kashmir University provides various scholarships under different categories to deserving candidates. The university offers three different scholarships mentioned below:

Merit Scholarship: Two merit holders in any course are eligible for 2 merit scholarships. It is granted on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test. Students enrolled in the final year of M.A./M.Sc/M.Com can avail scholarship on the basis of merit scored.
Research Scholarship: There are four scholarships in each department that are awarded for carrying out research leading to the award of Ph.D./ M.Phil degrees. In addition, they will also receive a grant for meeting miscellaneous expenses annually.
Student Aid: It is financial assistance offered to meritorious students who come from low-income groups. The university also provides assistance to students with a poor economic background with preference being given to students who are orphans.

Hostels: There is an accommodation facility available for both male and female students admitted to the university. Each hostel provides mess facilities and services to the students. The room is allowed by a committee according to prescribed norms.
Sports: The University has various cricket, hockey, football, volleyball, handball, baseball courts within the main campus. There is also a health club with the latest machinery to provide physical fitness to the students.
Library: There is a rich collection of 6,36,000 books, 56,513 journals, 415 manuscripts, 545 CDs and DVDs. Besides, the library also includes Braille books, Digital Talking books, newspapers, magazines. etc.

Eligibility for the course requires 12th standard marks. Application forms and fees were submitted online mode in July 2022. No reservation benefits for me. The admission process should start in June so that there will be more time to opt in.
