NIT Kurukshetra Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

• Any student who has cleared his Master’s degree in the relevant subject is eligible to apply for this program.
• The candidates should have scored minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate.

NIT Kurukshetra Ph.D Selection Criteria

• The candidate will be selected on the basis of a Written Test conducted by the Institute.
• After the written Test, the candidate will appear in the interview.
• The eligible applicants will be tested by the DRC ( Department Research Committee ) through a written test. Based on their performance in the written test, DRC can shortlist a number of candidates for interview as per the number of vacancies available in the department.

How to Apply for a Ph.D.?

• Application for Ph.D. can be downloaded from the institute’s portal.
• Candidates need to address their application to “The Director NIT Kurukshetra”, and need to submit it to the office of the Registrar, Golden Jubilee Administrative Building, NIT Kurukshetra,Kurukshetra-136119.
• The prescribed application fee of Rs. 200/- must be submitted along with the application form in the form of Demand Draft in favor of Director, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra payable at Kurukshetra.
• Alternatively, applicants may deposit application fee of Rs. 200/- online using SBI i-collect facility. In this case they must attach receipt of the online payment along with the application.
