Ans. Yes, students having B.Tech/ BE/ BS degrees with valid GATE scores are eligible to apply for IIT Delhi Ph.D. admission. However, no other students can enroll themselves in the Ph.D. programme offered by IIT Delhi without Post Graduation.

Ans. For admission to IIT Delhi M.Tech Programme, shortlisting is done based on GATE score. The minimum cut off required for M.Tech admission at IIT Delhi for its CSE branch has been 900 and for Biomedical Engineering, the gate cut off is minimum 625 score.

Ans. Yes, After the registration for admission to an IIT Delhi PG course is done, candidates are also required to submit their CAT/ GATE/ CEED/ IIT JAM score card as per their course requirements. Submission of the required score card while filling the application form is a prerequisite to be eligible for IIT Delhi PG Admission.

Ans. Yes, based on the merit and family income of the students, IIT Delhi offers various scholarships to eligible students. BTech and MSc students having 6 CGPA and a family income of INR 4.5 LPA are eligible for Merit-cum-means scholarships. Such scholarships are offered to at most 25% of the students providing a tuition waiver and Rs 1000 per month. Additionally, Donor endowed scholarships Many alumni, corporates and philanthropists are instituted at IIT Delhi too.

Yes, all those students of IIT Delhi whose annual family income is less than Rs.9 LPA are eligible for interest-free education loans for a period of five years from the leading nationalized and private banks. The interest on the bank loans will be paid by IIT Delhi from their internal accruals. 

Ans. Yes, IIT Delhi offers a scheme for the award of Teaching/Research Assistantship in order to provide financial assistance to those students who are admitted on a full-time basis. Students under this scheme are required to render 8 hours of teaching/ research assistance to the Department apart from their routine academic work.

Ans. At IIT Delhi, PhD students are offered a Teaching/ Research Assistantship which provides INR 31,000 per month for the first two years and INR 35,000 per month for the next two years of the program.

Ans. The primary campus of IIT Delhi is located in Hauz Khas, South Delhi, with Sonipat and Jhajjar being the two satellite campuses. IITD-Sonipat campus is located at the Technopark at Rajiv Gandhi Education City while the Jhajjar campus is located next to the AIIMS-Delhi's Jhajjar campus at Badsa village in Jhajjar district of Haryana.

MA in IIT Delhi are Minor/Interdisciplinary Area Specialization commonly known as Minor Area (MA).When a student opts for such a specialization and / or a minor area, he / she can use 10 open category (OC) credits (mandatory degree requirement) towards the specialization and/or minor area requirements. For example, a student registered for B.Tech (Chemical Engg.) and opting for minor area in Computer Science, can opt for courses prescribed for the minor area, as part of mandatory 10 credits requirements under OC. He/she will need to do additional 10 credits for completing the Minor area requirements.
