Panjab University provides excellent hostel facilities to its students with a secure accommodation.

There are 17 Residence Halls for students on the campus
Out of 17 halls, 8 are for boys and 9 are for girls and there is also a Working Women Hostel.
Warden and other Hostel Staff are on duty 24/7
Each hostel has a dining hall, canteen, water coolers, a visitors' lounge, and an outdoor court for sports like badminton, volleyball, etc.
Healthy and hygienic food is served at affordable prices in the mess
The Common Room is decked with recent magazines and newspapers.
Other amenities include indoor games, LCD TV and music system.
Each hostel has Wi-Fi and cyber cafe facilities
The rooms are comfortable, with basic amenities like fan, lights and furniture. Every wing of the hostel has verandahs and balconies.

Overall, the infrastructure of the hostels is surreal with lush greenery and open spaces.
