NSUT PhD Key Highlights

  • NSUT offers PhD program in 7 specializations.
  • NSIT Delhi offers its Ph.D. program in both full-time of 3 years duration and part-time mode of 5-6 years of duration. 
  • A total fee of INR 1.13 lakhs is charged by NSIT Delhi for its PhD program via regular mode.
  • Admission to the Ph.D. program is strictly done via national-level entrance exams such as GATE, UGC-NET, CSIR, JRF, etc.

NSUT PhD Eligibility Criteria

To be qualified for admission to the PhD Program, applicants are required to meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

  • Master’s Degree in the required field such as Engineering/Technology/Sciences/Management/Humanities/Social Sciences or equivalent with a minimum of 60% of marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and a Bachelor’s Degree with a 60% of mark or equivalent CGPA.
  • Candidates applying for Teaching-cum-Research Fellowship/University Research Fellowship (TRF/URF) shall be required to have a Master's Degree in the respective discipline with 70% marks or equivalent CGPA and a Bachelor’s Degree with a 60% of marks or equivalent CGPA.

Under PhD, 07 specializations are offered.The eligibility criteria vary from stream to stream. For selection though, the candidate has to clear either CSIR NET or UGC NET-LS, or GATE followed by an interview.

How to Apply?

  1. Generate Your New Application Number and Password through the official website of NSIT at nsut.ac.in
  2. Candidates can find Application number and Password from their registered Email address and Mobile number given.
  3. Log in to Login for already registered candidates form.
  4. Fill The Registration Form in the Basic Information Tab.
  5. Upload your Photo, Signature and Thumb Impression in Upload details tab.
  6. Ensure and confirm the details in the Preview tab.
  7. Pay Application Fee from the payment tab.
  8. Print Application Form after making payment.

Documents Required

  • A print out of your REGISTRATION SLIP duly self attested (downloaded online application form).
  • One self-attested copy of all the supporting documents.
  • Age proof.
  • Graduation and Masters mark sheets
  • GATE certificate
  • NET certificate for NET candidates.
