I wrote jee mains followed by jee advance entrance examination, if we are qualified we are provided with a rank which is the basis for the cutoff for colleges and apply to jossaa counselling with 6 rounds, reservation benefits are provided for a wide range

Course Curriculum Overview :

To become a hacker to ensure safety of the public and here the student-lecture ratio is 15 and the faculty here are highly educated with everyone pursuing PhD in their respective streams, mid exams were very difficult to score even a double-digit

Placement Experience :

Placements in our college are one of the finest in our country and companies. Of mnc like Google also do visit our college, highest package will be of order 2cr and avg will be of 25lpa and in cse 95% students get their placements

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost is okay but without any loan or scholarship it is very tough to pay the fees and i am having the education loan and fees hike policy I don't know about it, but we are very glad that we are done with this.

Campus Life :

There are various clubs like volleyball, basketball, swimming, table tennis, billiards etc sports clubs. There are many other technical clubs which are useful in research. There is a website that is run by seniors which contains many references that are useful to all the students present.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are quite older as the campus is one of the oldest of the iit institutes and the mess provided. Is varied for different hostels and the food quality is good it is a challenging menu for students from south

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is quite good. we cannot disclose the name of the company visiting the campus because the training and placement cell of NIT SILCHAR did not allow us to disclose the names of the companies. My plan after getting my degree is to go through the UPSC exam.

The College life at NIT SILCHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I was interested in this course. Here the faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:25 which is very good we can clarify our doubts by asking the faculty, the Qualification of the teaching method will mostly be the same, they are PhD, but their teaching experience plays a major role and their teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but it would be nice. Term exams would be around 5 months Difficulty in passing the exams depends on the faculty.

There are too many companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements get placed with a good package.

The placement season in the college is a very important one. Even before that, students get to do internships from 2nd year of BTech, providing them exposure to all kinds of companies and job sectors. All kinds of companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Uber make their way out here in search of bright minds capable of developing the companies further. They even provide the students with Pre Placement Offers, if their internship performance is commendable. The highest package goes upto above 2 crore INR per year, with average packages of above 25 lakhs INR per year. Above 85% of the students get placed in the end, with the others interested in higher studies. Nobody is left idle. My plans after BTech are to pursue a well paying job with a good working atmosphere.
