Remarks :

Screening test jee mains followed by jee advance, if we qualify in advance, we get a rank and through josaa counselling, we keep our college priorities list and lock them. We have 6 rounds and the one we want comes before we can freeze after paying the fee we are allotted a seat in the college followed by physical registration needed.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Computer science is an expanding branch which has scope in future also here student to teacher ratio is 15. so we are available with faculty staff so our doubts are cleared, faculty members are highly qualified almost everyone with a PhD in their respective streams, every 2months there is a mid exam followed by end term, it was very difficult to score a double digit number also.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience :

After 5th semester I think students are eligible for placements, Google, Oyo, etc companies came and the highest package was 2.14cr per annum and the average was 29lpa, in CSE 95%students get placements. after my degree, I am aiming to prepare for the CAT exam

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is very accurate and Iam not eligible for any of the scholarship provided by my college, so I am trying to apply for a bank loan in college I am in 1st year so no job or internship programme are conducted, it is a big challenge for me to pay that fee without any scholarship

Campus Life :

Spardha, Krithi, and Manthan are the fests of tech culture sports. The library consists of five floors and numerous books are available on any topic, classrooms are with AC and projector and a chair to sit, sports activities are at their best in our college, inter hostel and inter IIT will be held, clubs run for students are Lumiere, octaves, etc

Hostel Facilities :

Room we are provided with study table , chair , fan, bed , and a wifi lan connection , mess food is very good in our college there is no big registration process for hostel allotment , hostel fees is quite a tough one to afford without any scholarship or loan

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is quite good. we cannot disclose the name of the company visiting the campus because the training and placement cell of NIT SILCHAR did not allow us to disclose the names of the companies. My plan after getting my degree is to go through the UPSC exam.

The College life at NIT SILCHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I was interested in this course. Here the faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:25 which is very good we can clarify our doubts by asking the faculty, the Qualification of the teaching method will mostly be the same, they are PhD, but their teaching experience plays a major role and their teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but it would be nice. Term exams would be around 5 months Difficulty in passing the exams depends on the faculty.

From the 6th sem onwards students are eligible for campus. As per the guidelines of the training and placement cell, the name of the company visited can't be disclosed. There are too many companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements get placed with a good package.

Placement Experience:

The placement season in the college is a very important one. Even before that, students get to do internships from 2nd year of BTech, providing them exposure to all kinds of companies and job sectors. All kinds of companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Uber make their way out here in search of bright minds capable of developing the companies further. They even provide the students with Pre Placement Offers, if their internship performance is commendable. The highest package goes upto above 2 crore INR per year, with average packages of above 25 lakhs INR per year. Above 85% of the students get placed in the end, with the others interested in higher studies. Nobody is left idle. My plans after BTech are to pursue a well paying job with a good working atmosphere.
