The exam for entrance to IITG is JEE Advanced. All the details about JEE and admission through it are available on the official website of JOSSA. JOSSA is an organization which accomplishes the admission process. Other details are available on the official website of IITG.

Course Curriculum Overview :

EEE was the best course that l could get concerning my rank in the examination. Roughly there are 70 students in each department and there is a professor, TA course coordinator. Most of the faculty members are PHD scholars from India or outside. There are two semesters in a year each or length 4 months. Difficult was of course as expected moderate-tough.

Class Size : 74Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees can be paid via any online transaction, no matter what kind of mode you have. The opportunity of jobs concerns with your outcome in the examinations and all. There are assistance persons on the campus who help to understand these things.

Campus Life :

There is the beautiful Central Library on the campus as well as a hostel library in each hostel. The campus has lots of sports facilities including grounds, instruments etc. There are many clubs like dance club, tech club, robotics club, film making club, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

There are regular facilities which we often get at home like fan table chair bed etc. Meal is much better than that expected. Registration of hostel is done on the same day as that of admission. Fees of hostel are included in total fees.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is quite good. we cannot disclose the name of the company visiting the campus because the training and placement cell of NIT SILCHAR did not allow us to disclose the names of the companies. My plan after getting my degree is to go through the UPSC exam.

The College life at NIT SILCHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I was interested in this course. Here the faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:25 which is very good we can clarify our doubts by asking the faculty, the Qualification of the teaching method will mostly be the same, they are PhD, but their teaching experience plays a major role and their teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but it would be nice. Term exams would be around 5 months Difficulty in passing the exams depends on the faculty.

From the 6th sem onwards students are eligible for campus. As per the guidelines of the training and placement cell, the name of the company visited can't be disclosed. There are too many companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements get placed with a good package.

Placement Experience:

The placement season in the college is a very important one. Even before that, students get to do internships from 2nd year of BTech, providing them exposure to all kinds of companies and job sectors. All kinds of companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Uber make their way out here in search of bright minds capable of developing the companies further. They even provide the students with Pre Placement Offers, if their internship performance is commendable. The highest package goes upto above 2 crore INR per year, with average packages of above 25 lakhs INR per year. Above 85% of the students get placed in the end, with the others interested in higher studies. Nobody is left idle. My plans after BTech are to pursue a well paying job with a good working atmosphere.
