Remarks :

Eligibility for admission is 12th standard with physics, chemistry, biology, or mathematics. The application form is available on admissions.hau.ac.in, the application fee for filling the form is 1000 Rs., and the application date is 20 May.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Because this course will provide me an opportunity to give my best to the farmers and to the nation. All faculty are P.hd. pass out & they are very experienced. The teaching method is very good, every student loves their teaching style.

Class Size : 48Course Fees : INR 14000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The University awards a merit scholarship of ` 800/- to each student per month. This scholarship is, however, offered to only 25% of those students who have been admitted against the Haryana Resident seats. The amount of the scholarship will be ` 1200/- per month if the recipient is a girl student. If an occasion arises for re- award of scholarships, the number of scholarships is determined by the strength of the class at the time of re-award. After the award of scholarships, when the fraction is half or more than half, it is to be taken as one for the purpose of award of scholarship.

Campus Life :

The annual fest happens every year in the month of November. The tech fest does not happen every year but every 3-4 years their a tech fest which is very cool and enjoyable. The Library has a large print collection of about 3,81,670 volumes of books & other reading material. In addition, it has about 190 Indian and foreign print and Online journals on current subscription. Besides, it subscribes to many e-resources i.e. indiastat.com; Britannica On-Line Academic Edition (BOLAE) and Scopus citation database, and many e-books.

The scope of this course is very high. It gives job opportunities. It is a new course. There is a faculty-to-student ratio in equal amounts. The teaching method of teachers is very good. In one chance I passed this exam. Difficulty level is moderate on this exam.

The college is very good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I had a great interest in the field of agriculture. My parents have been involved in agriculture for a long time. The expected faculty-to-student ratio is 1:20.The faculty is well qualified. All the faculty members are PhD holders. The final exams are conducted at the end of the semester and are moderately difficult.

I chose this course because the chances of getting a job are higher than simple bsc. In this degree, we have 9 major subjects. In the first 6 semesters, we have theory as well as practical classes. Resourceful students and less better opportunities

Placement Experience:

In the 7th and 8th semesters, students are eligible for campus placement. HDFC bank visited for the placement. Students with above a 7.5 GPA can apply for such placement as the number of vacancies is less as well. After completing my graduation I want to pursue agribusiness management.

My university my journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for it, because of my keen interest in agriculture as I am from an agricultural family. Apart from this, I see numerous enterprise opportunities particularly associated with horticulture field. Students enrolled in the university are allotted an advisor, and normally for every 8 students, there is an advisor who apart from their studies helps them in their overall development. Most of the faculty members hold PhD degrees in their respective fields while some of them have worked on research projects and have international degrees as well. Talking about the exams, exams are always in accordance with the schedule and are held timely but sometimes they take a bit longer to declare the results, While exams are not that tough and one can easily pass them one needs to be consistent in their studies for better results.
