CCSHAU is one of the best Agricultural Universities in Asia, located at Hisar in the North Indian state of Haryana. The university has established an excellent Agri-Business Incubation Centre for development of future agripreneurs not only on the national but the international level as well. It has been approved by UGC & ICAR and awarded as one of the top ranked universities of ICAR & MHRD. CCSHAU is a public-funded State University which offers various UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate, and Research programmes. The university has 6 constituent colleges and 1 centre of Food Science & Technology. The university provides co education with a total annual intake of 720+ every year. The university provides 480+ experienced, knowledgeable, and supportive faculties to its students.

CCSHAU Facilities
CCSHAU provides various facilities to its students. They are as follows:
- Hostel: The university provides separate hostels for both boys and girls except Diploma students. The Hostels are well-equipped with all the latest facilities such as WiFi, LCD TV with dish antennae, solar water-heating system, gas connection, furniture, EPABX phone facility, mess facility, water coolers with purifier system and Table Tennis facilities.
- Library: The university provides library facilities to its students. The library contains around 3.18 lakh volumes of books and 718 Indian and foreign journals and has 6 reading halls with a cosy reading environment where 650 readers can sit and study at a time.
- Laboratories: The university has well-equipped laboratories in each area of learning to provide PCR, FT-IR, Electron Microscope and X-ray diffraction and many more.
- Sports: The university has two indoor badminton courts with seating capacity for 600 spectators, two indoor squash courts, hobby rooms, and two multipurpose indoor gymnasiums with a reasonable seating capacity.
- Medical Services: The university has a well-equipped 50-bed Hospital at the main campus, Hisar and 3 Dispensaries at out-stations that are at College of Agriculture, Kaul (Kaithal), Regional Research Stations, Karnal, and Bawal. The Hospital at the main campus is fully functional with 5 Doctors and a Dentist & medical aid is provided round the clock to the students, university employees, and other trainees/ visitors.

Ans: Yes, the university provides hostel accommodation depending upon the availability to its students except the students of Diploma. The university provides 18 hostels amongst which 13 hostels, 5 for Boys, 7 for Girls and 1 for PG married students which are situated at the main campus Hisar, 2 hostels; one each for Boys/Girls at Kaul and 3 hostels; 2 for boys and 1 for girls at Bawal.
